Has anyone noticed how much David Hogg resembles CNN's Rachel Madcow?

"Parkland high school shooting survivor who helped become a voice for a global gun control movement."

"The Florida teen has a 4.2 GPA and an SAT score of 1270."

"He’s been accepted to Cal State San Marcos and Cal Poly, and in his home state, Florida Atlantic University — but he’s not yet sure what he’ll do after graduating, he said."

“At this point, I’m probably going to take a gap year and I’m sure I’ll eventually find the right place for me,” he told Axios. “Right now I’m more focused on changing the world and the future of America.”

Wow he's global now. I think a gap year and just appearing on all the late night TV shows is perfect. Hang out with Obama and Clinton.

Maybe they didn't like his answers to the essay questions with his focus on changing the world and the future of America and everything. I would think the colleges would be in line to get him and giving him a full ride especially with those grades and SAT score.

We’re bad - making them targets.
Boo hoo hoo... they can call us murderers but we can't make fun of them? What a bunch of snowflake, cry babies.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

Actually a score of 1270 is pretty meeehhhh. That's barely a B.

For his own good, he should focus on building his own future. I'm not sure that he realizes that he's being used by a movement that doesn't care about his well being.

My understanding is FAU is locally (South Florida) nicknamed Find Another University.

has a 4.2 GPA
I thought 4.0 was the maximum possible GPA. Google seems to agree with me on that.

Or is this like the scene from Spinal Tap where he's shopping for amps and the salesman tells him "this one's better, it goes to 11"?

I think he's in it for the money and fame, not any ideology.

That's for sure. If the media decided he wasn't a ratings booster, they'd toss him like a used napkin.

My anti gun facebookers are saying we are all wrong about David Hogg. He is a second amendment supporter. He considers 99.9 percent of NRA members honorable people.
He doesn’t want to ban guns. He just wants better mental health care. Better definitions of mental illness. And background checks for all gun purchases and transfers.

They point to his wekipedia page as proof he is not after our guns.

Did I get this kid all wrong?

Any proof to the contrary?

I believe his own words from many of his videos are proof enough that wiki page is a total lie, especially his video laced with cussing NRA and it's members

The NRA has been essentially the only organization pushing for strong enforcement of the GCA 1968. The Anti-gun lobby doesn't want that, but instead desire obvious failures which result in moregun control measures.
