Marion Hammer, the NRA’s top lobbyist in Florida, didn’t attend Tuesday’s public hearing on a Leon County gun ordinance because of death threats.
Progressive socialists anti-gunners (yes, I repeated myself) are such nice people.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

“Despite the county attorney’s claim to the contrary, the proposed ordinance is legally and constitutionally flawed,” Hoffman said, reading from Hammer’s written remarks. “The ordinance does reach beyond the authority contained in the Florida Constitution and it is therefore a violation of the Florida firearms preemption law.”
I think the NRA and Ms. Hammer acted appropriately. The Progressives are the ones to watch out for.

And, IMO, the Commissioners should have to pay a price for passing such an ordinance/law.

Now how do we go about ensuring that the enactors of the ordinance and the community at large know which side of this issue has a demonstrated aptitude to pre-emptively threaten others with deadly force...
