And Then There is Boulder CO

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

And Then There is Boulder CO

I feel like its really starting to get hostile, no place is safe and politicians do what they want regardless.

People who own what city council called assault rifles prior to June 15 of this year have until the end of the year to do three things:

1 - Get rid of the gun

2 - Turn it into authorities

3 - Break the gun so it doesn't work

4 - Obtain a permit from the city

That permit will only be granted if a person passes a background check, isn't prohibited by law from owning a gun, can safely store the gun, would have the gun only on their property, and would immediately report the loss or theft of the gun.

I'm not surprised since Boulder is the Home of the University of Colorado. I lived in Colorado Springs while stationed at Peterson AFB back in the early 90's and Boulder was Ultra Liberal back then.

My wife were in that area last week for my brothers graduation from CSU. Naturally I had to give him a hard time about this little issue but he said the same thing. Some areas are ultra liberal, others not so much.

This will get rid of all semi auto rifles and handguns. Would only leave revolvers, bolt action and lever action rifles. What a bunch of idiots. And to think at one time I thought about moving to that area. Glad I didn't

If someone ever asks for a permit, perhaps this might be appropriate:

Guess State of Colorado doesn't have pre-emption laws?
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Thats the worst part..... They do.

They also have "Home Field Rule".... Now to go double check that Texas doesn't have anything of the sort.

Oh, boy. So then they're going to do a big sweep through all those violent Boulder gangs (it's infested with them) and take all their illegal guns? Whew, I feel better now....
