Biden's Position on Guns for His Presidency

If you haven't read this, you should. Carefully. And so should anyone you know who owns or is thinking about owning a gun, and/or who believes in the Constitution of the United States of America and the Bill of Rights. Yes, you have to click through the demand to donate to get to the actual page:

https://joebiden.com/gunsafety/

In no way, shape, or form is this the position of a purported "moderate." If elected, Biden will be nothing but a talking head for his handlers. And his handlers want to see the heaviest possible lid slammed down on the 2nd Amendment and firearm ownership in America.

Biden's key advisors are B. Sanders and AOC. The moderate Joe Biden of 20 years ago that some remember has succumbed to dementia.
it's socially unacceptable to be ahead of your time.

That list was even longer than I thought!
End the online sale of firearms and ammunitions. Biden will enact legislation to prohibit all online sales of firearms, ammunition, kits, and gun parts.

Ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Federal law prevents hunters from hunting migratory game birds with more than three shells in their shotgun. That means our federal law does more to protect ducks than children. It’s wrong. Joe Biden will enact legislation to once again ban assault weapons. This time, the bans will be designed based on lessons learned from the 1994 bans. For example, the ban on assault weapons will be designed to prevent manufacturers from circumventing the law by making minor changes that don’t limit the weapon’s lethality. While working to pass this legislation, Biden will also use his executive authority to ban the importation of assault weapons.

Regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act. Currently, the National Firearms Act requires individuals possessing machine-guns, silencers, and short-barreled rifles to undergo a background check and register those weapons with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Due to these requirements, such weapons are rarely used in crimes. As president, Biden will pursue legislation to regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act.

Buy back the assault weapons and high-capacity magazines already in our communities. Biden will also institute a program to buy back weapons of war currently on our streets. This will give individuals who now possess assault weapons or high-capacity magazines two options: sell the weapons to the government, or register them under the National Firearms Act.

Reduce stockpiling of weapons. In order to reduce the stockpiling of firearms, Biden supports legislation restricting the number of firearms an individual may purchase per month to one.

Close the “hate crime loophole.” Biden will enact legislation prohibiting an individual “who has been convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime, or received an enhanced sentence for a misdemeanor because of hate or bias in its commission” from purchasing or possessing a firearm.

Give states incentives to set up gun licensing programs. Biden will enact legislation to give states and local governments grants to require individuals to obtain a license prior to purchasing a gun.

Put America on the path to ensuring that 100% of firearms sold in America are smart guns.

Stop “ghost guns.”
It's a tyrants wet dream.

Biden's hatred of guns runs deep. He was instrumental in getting Clinton's 94 ban through Congress at that time.

He will also go out of his way to nominate an anti-Second Amendment justice to the Supreme Court.

With a few strokes of the pen (word-processors now) justices such as Ginsburg, Kagan, and Sotomayor would say you have no right to
even own guns and that the Second Amendment does not say what you think it says.

So, do not believe folks when you hear the refrain, "Oh, it does not really matter who we vote for, etc. etc." because it makes a HUGE difference regarding the Second Amendment.
Please know and follow the rules of firearms safety.

There will be a 2nd American Revolution/Civil War, just a matter of when! Joe Biden might bring that about Sooner than Later!

Eeewwww that’s a nasty read. I know that I lost brain cells reading that. Did you really need a reason why you have got to vote?
Gun control is like stopping drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to drive.

As I read the page at the campaign site, it seemed that I has seen every point before, maybe even verbatim, from Bloomberg's Moms Demand Attention group or the Giffords group. The talking points we have all heard before, and while the expressed sentiment is "respecting the Second Amendment" and "Common-Sense Gun Safety", the real message is simply Government will tell you IF you can have something and UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS. This is the antithesis of limited Government and individual Liberty. Hard lines that cannot be ignored are being drawn.

:iagree: Even if Trump gets re-elected, we can't keep a Republican in office forever. There's a rebellion brewing in this country and its not going to go away. If you want it to go away its gonna have to be crushed the same way the North did the South.

Yeppers. You read that right. And not only is there no attempt to disguise it, the number of links in the content to external websites tells the story:
  • 14 —> giffords.org (previously known as the Legal Community Against Violence and as the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence; merged in 2016 with Americans for Responsible Solutions, led by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her husband retired NASA astronaut Captain Mark Kelly)
  • 2 —> everytownresearch.org (created in 2013 when Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America joined forces; is financed by Michael Bloomberg
  • 2 —> marchforourlives.com (started as March for Our Lives, a student-led 2018 demonstration in support of legislation to prevent gun violence; you can see where much of the money came from to start this group here)
  • 2 —> thetrace.org (devoted to gun-related news in the US; established in 2015 with money from the gun control advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety, which was founded by Michael Bloomberg)
  • 2 —> futureswithoutviolence.org (Futures Without Violence, formerly Family Violence Prevention Fund)

Plato recounts Greek history indicating that Tyranny only got really bad after the tyrants got all the weapons. So if you think Marxist mobs tearing down statues, beating motorists, burning and looting cities is bad... you ain't seen bad yet. This is the warmup.

When the dems are back in power, whenever that may be, it will be the death of freedom as we know it.
Unless we dig our heels in and fight for it. That starts at the voting booth, but may end in the streets. Either way, there are rough waters ahead.

If he thinks that millions of lawful gun owners will allow anyone to step into their home and compelled them by use of force or otherwise to sell or “register” their lawfully owned guns, he must be even more demented then I thought. Bunch of liberal hot air.
