how long do I have to submit?

#1

Post by mightyjohn »

Hi, I'm new to the board and this is my first post.

Does anyone happen to know how long I have to send off my CHL paperwork after doing the CHL class? I did my class on 01/10/09, and have forgotten about it until now. I just hope it isn't too late. I just know my wife isn't going to let me do the class again... :nono:

Welcome to the forum.

You have two years from the date on the TR-100 form.

However, if you applied and paid online, your payment will disappear in one year.

Oh, Ok. I thought is was something like 6 months or so and was getting nervous. Thanks for the info. My wife on the other hand was getting excited. She doesn't want me to carry. I haven't done any sort of payments online, I was just going to send a money order along with my paperwork.

You can send a personal check now. Just be absolutely sure it doesn't bounce, because that's the end of the application.

Your wife will come around in time. This topic has been discussed many times on the forum. You will have plenty of time to read up. :smilelol5:
