#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

If you are not registered to vote, please do and get your friends and family to do so.

Here is a link to an NRA site that you can use to fill out the registration forum, then print it and mail it in. Online submissions are not allowed. https://ssl.capwiz.com/nra/e4/nvra/?action=form" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks,
Chas.

Just a follow-on to make certain everyone is aware of important dates in Texas regarding the November 2 uniform election:
  • Last day to register to vote: October 4, 2010
  • First day of early voting: October 18, 2010
  • Last day to apply for ballot by mail: October 26, 2010 (must be received, not merely postmarked)
  • Last day of early voting: October 29, 2010
  • Election Day: November 2, 2010
For full information about voting in Texas, visit http://www.votexas.org/index.html.

It would warm my heart to believe every eligible TXCHL Forum member will vote in this election.

Thanks for the reminder, Tom.

Important dates and information about the general election can be found here: http://www.votexas.org/.

Early voting begins Monday, October 22. The TSRA-PAC voter's guide is available here. Folks may also want to visit the NRA-PVF at http://nrapvf.org/ for their candidate ratings and more information.

Hard to believe the general election is only 34 days away...

Thanks for those links too
TSRA is IMHO being really nice and generous to give only a "D" to *Judith Zarini and *Rodney Ellis (D-Houston) SD13 D (I read his tweets during the last session https://twitter.com/RodneyEllis" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I no longer follow him; antacid costs were too high) and Wendy Davis
I can only assume the TSRA's "F" key on the keyboard stopped working until Jose Rodriguez' name is why they got a "D"
There should be a rating worse than F-

The idea that someone would take the time and effort to get their CHL and join this forum AND NOT BE A REGISTERED VOTER is simply incomprehensible to me.

Yes, but...
Sometimes people move and forget to change their registration.

If you know someone like that, please remind them.

Don't get in a rush to let them know, if they don't vote Pro-Gun.

Remind your friends that thanks to Comrade Holder, you don't need ID or US citizenship to vote.
