Stealth C1000 9mm...
Anybody knows about the reliability of this handgun?? Anybody owns/owned one ?? I know it was manufactured ( now discontinued) by Heritage Manufacturing Inc. of Florida. HMI makes rough rider revolvers. That's all I know about this gun courtesy of Google but I can't find any range report nor feedbacks on it... Any heads-up???
Thanks...
Thanks...

I've never heard of it. How cheap can you get it and what do you plan to use it for are the two big questions.
From what I can gather after a Google search, brand new they were $189 when they were being made.
That's pretty cheap and the fact that the company is no longer around tells me that money would be better spent elsewhere.
Where will you get parts and service when it breaks? Trust me, any handgun that costs $189 new will very likely break.

Thanks Highvelocity.. Actually, was just given to me by a friend who had it but never fired it nor have any interest in guns. Anyway, parts are still available at HMI and they informed me if there is anything wrong with the gun to ship it to them and they will fix it for free. I've thoroughly cleaned it ( downloaded manual) and seem to work fine. Need to take it to the range and shoot it though.. Hope it does not explode in my hands...I actually bought an extra magazine from them.. I was surprised to see that the MSRP was less than $200.00!!! Frame is polymer and the gun looks well built/made ( oopppss, I"m not a gun expert....you be the judge of that, Highvelocity.) BTW, hope to make a FTF deal with you one day but I don't know what I want yet....

Forgot to answer your second question... what will I use it for ?? Just another gun to clean and talk about... I've got my G26 for carry as soon as I get my CHL ( PROCESSING APPLICATION..status). So don't worry I wont use it for protection.. Thank you for your time,Sir!

I own a stealth, and, provided it is kept clean, it is a great performer. I carry it concealed and it is truly no snag. It was given to me by a friend who was being tranfered overseas. It is accurate at self defense range and handles +P Hydra-shoks quite well. While, it is no GLOCK, it works as my first concealment pistol.

I also own a Stealth C1000, given to me by a friend, however I have not yet shot it. Seems a little flimsy to me, but considering the price I paid, I thought I'd give it a shot! (No pun intended)!!! It's a little hard to cock, (for me, anyway), but I was hoping it would loosen up a little after it's been used a bit. Other than that all I know is that HMI stopped making them over 10 years ago, and I'm sure they had a good reason.
Re: Stealth C1000 9mm...
I have owned a Heritage Stealth C1000 9mm for 12 years. Before I bought it I read some six tests on the pistol, all of them quite favorable. I read one torture test on the pistol where they fired almost 1100 rounds of reloaded and surplus ammo thru it without cleaning it and there was only three malfuntions, all of them ammunition related. At the time I purchased it the msrp was $290, but I got it for $230. I have fired well over 2000 rounds thru it, mostly 115 and 124 grain FMJ of differant manufactures and quite a few 124 and 135 grain Federal Hydra-Shoks without a single misfire or malfunction. I can't say that about my Colt .45 Government model or Tarus .40 and .45. Just perfect reliability! It's the pistol I carry for protection with complete confidence.

Can you tell me where to find rule 13?
I'm not sure how to do that.
Thanks

Okay, so I guess I can see why my post might have looked like I was trying to sell guns on this thread. However, I was not.
Want I want to know is what anyone knows about the Heritage Stealth C-2000. Is it a good gun, or not? I have one that
was given to me and I want to sell it. (Not Here!) But I want to know its value, not $ wise, but as a firearm. Is it reliable?
Isit considered safe? Is it even worth messing with. I am new to all this and so I googled and found this thread.
Thanks
Donna
