None of it surprises me. A lot easier to stomp on our rights if there is a "crisis" to deal with. I especially love the reaction of the WH, that being the new ATF 2 rifles 5 days rule, ESPECIALLY considering that the Firearms dealers WERE calling the ATF and reporting what they believed to be straw purchases.

Isn't this like putting the fox in charge of guarding the hen house?

I guess Obama wasn't content with being just a top domestic gun salesman, he had to branch into the export business too. Simply incredible.

:banghead:

And yet we (the gun owner, hunter, citizen) are the ones threatened by the latest prposed legislation regarding gun sales. The Fed screws up, and we loose more rights.

Makes sense to . . . well, no it doesn't. :totap:

What do you mean the Feds screwed up? The only "screw up" was getting caught. This wasn't a "mistake," it was a cynically motivated and deliberate plan to undermine the 2nd amendment --and no doubt had other political motivations as well. Deliberately undermining the Constitution should be considered treason (and deliberately and knowingly providing weapons to America's enemies sure sounds treasonous) and any resignations of the people who ordered this should be in advance of their trial.
