Any other NRA members tired of the media speaking for them?

Post by txmatt »

The president says it, Bloomberg says it, and I have read in many articles that rank and file NRA members support everything from banning types of guns, banning magazines, to outlawing private sales. Is this true? I surely hope not!

I, for one, am an NRA member and support none of these things. I liked the ideas presented in the press conference and I appreciate that there are public relations people in the NRA that are much better qualified to decide what should be said and when than I am, but I sure hope the record is set straight soon.

This seems to be a new (at least to me) strategy by the left to paint this issue as settled and to build the image of a consensus when there is none. Based on the availability of mags and lowers right now, I'd say there are plenty of people out there who don't buy into this latest call for gun control.

I've been tsking over all the ignorant anti's who say that an AR-15 is not a gun that
anyone would use for hunting.

Tell that to all the feral hogs that have been 86'd with a .223.

What would the anti's use to go hunting - a tofu spork?

Hunting has nothing to do with our rights under the 2nd!
The Libs like to mix that all up for the masses in order to shake out what they really want.

I don't think it is new. Seems to me that is exactly what happened with Obamacare. Consensus where there wasn't one for a solution that didn't exist. In computer application development, we used to call that "vaporware".

I'd say that are a lot of people for gun control. A lot of them have walked out of stores in the last few days controlling THEIR OWN guns. :evil2:

Yeah, I'm afraid Washington has learned they can force the most unpopular ideas down the throat of America....and still get re-elected. That's scary.

As you guessed, this is a lie. Our membership list is a closely guarded secret, so the lying sloths couldn't contact our folks to ask, even is they were so inclined.
