This poll was put up for one of two reasons. One, to actually get folks to make a "compromise" (concession). Or two, to get the result we have had on here...that basically NONE of us are going to find either one of those choices to be acceptable. If those liberal-progressives want to live in a "gun free society", let them emigrate to the UK or Australia. I refuse to vote as well.

I would like to see both bans killed. In fact, I would like to see NFA overturned by a Supreme Court that actually reads the Constitution, but we have to be realistic. I'll be hanged if I'd rather see no semiautomatic firearms protected because I was too politically unrealistic to make myself cowboy up and make a choice to do things in a certain strategic order.
This is a Glock 40. Fifty Cent. Too Short. All of them talk about a Glock 40. OK?
I'm the only one in this forum fool enough - that I know of - to shoot himself with a Glock 40.

Does your lady friend have a sister?
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

The only change I favor is repealing the ban on gun free zones. That was an idiotic idea when it was enacted, has contributed to the death of untold dozens since and needs to be done away with. Next week would not be too soon.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

This poll is very scary to me. At this lost there are nine so far who are willing to give in.
