The restaurant is reconsidering its position on allowing concealed carry in the restaurant.

This is in Kansas, a very pro gun state.

Where do you see this? It may not have had an external safety. It could have been in his pocket with no holster. It could have been a small derringer with no tigger guard. We just don't know what the type of handgun he had and what happened other than 'he reached in his pocket and pulled the trigger' that was stated in the video.

What we do know is that he was carrying his handgun in an unsafe manner. If he had it secured in a holster he probably wouldn't have hit the trigger is my guess.
I've spent a lot of money on guns, bullets and holsters.... The rest I've just squandered away!

THIS is a statement that I agree with...if you carry it, carry it in a holster.

Do y'all who pocket carry, also carry other items in the same pocket? When I pocket carried that pocket was off limits..

Too many bad things can happen, heck I've had my keys dial a number on my phone just by me leaning a certain way, so if keys can do that keys can easily pull a trigger..the gun pocket is just that, a gun pocket and leave all the other stuff in the other pockets. Doing it this way will keep you from shooting your wife while in Kansas.

My pocket carry pocket contains nothing but my pocket carried gun and the pocket holster.

Anything else, chapstick, keys etc go in one of the 4 pockets in my guayabera shirt.

When I pocket carry it is a Ruger LCP in a Recluse holster. Nothing else goes into that pocket.
