Re: Uncomfortable carrying

Suspenders work. Don't have to over-tighten the belt. Over a t-shirt and under an untucked cover shirt when in public. Keeps your gear and pants in place.

Head was on the pillow at 8p sharp. Just seeing photos of this, person, makes me ill to my stomach. I have no intention of intentionally exacerbating the feeling further.

Re: How many hams do we have on the Forum?

Dad's been a ham since the 50's, grew up around them but it took me 40-some years to get my tech in 2011 despite being able to copy code well enough for a General when I was 10 or 11... Picked up my General ticket last year. Need to get an HF antenna in the air and pick up code again. Thinking about...

Re: HB-1142, High School elective 2A course

FWIW, the JROTC air-rifle team is still alive and well in Mesquite, perhaps just some of the schools dropped the option. I'm all for firearms eduction being part of the academic process. If they can teach my kids about sex, drugs, communism, socialism and non-Christian religions, why can't they teac...

Re: 2013 Federal Legislative Session Gun Bills

Here are a couple that crossed my radar: H.R. 410 (Stockman - TX) Restore the Constitution Act of 2013 - To provide that any executive action infringing on the Second Amendment has no force or effect, and to prohibit the use of funds for certain purposes. S. 82 ( Rand - KY) Separation of Powers Rest...

Re: IN: Man shoots self accidentally after leaving gun show

Given the increase number of inexperienced folks moving firearms around I wouldn't be surprised if there is an increase in ND's. The "panic" has incited many folks without basic firearm safety discipline to purchase and/or otherwise handle firearms, often in unsafe ways. From those panic b...

Re: REPUBLICAN INSIDER: Obama Livid Over Gun Rights Backlash
