after the first time out, i did clean and lube it along with a lot of dry firing/slide racking. all of the ppu/remington was 115 gr. grumble, i did not clean/lube before taking it out, but i never have with any of my other pistols either...

I picked up a shield a few weeks ago and was disappointed with it as first. I ran 75 rounds of WWB through it the first day and had 5 failure to ejects, the case would be 1/2 to 3/4 way out of the barrel and the next round be attempting to feed. had a pair for low serial number sequential para brand ar 15 lowers for a mere $1600 and a matching pair of russian sks for $2500, maybe its just me but i've bought cars for less than those!

u may want to check out gt distributors in austin, you can get a glock 19 brand new for $399+tax if your a leo, ems, lawyer, active or retired military, or several other qualifications.

I really was not a believer that this could possibly hold a gun in Place. Imho its way more comfortable than the crossbreed types. It allows some movement but not enough to affect a stable draw.

after getting home and reading up on the gas block it appears we had the screw adjusted way to far out. almost all the way out! JP's website said to screw it all the way in then back out two turns. so i'll try that and see how it does, thanks for the info guys.

308 is just so expensive compared to 7.62x39. Imho its the perfect caliber for fun/hunting. Its cheap and has way more power than 223.
