Re: VA: Tazewell County Forms Militia in Response to New Virginia Gun Laws

Donald Trump with the National Guard at his disposal and Attorney General and Top Cop William Barr loose and running wild? With Obama it was The Brownshirts, who never came to pass. With Bush it was cops and hired security forces seizing the guns of American citizens during Hurricane Katrina. All th...

Re: SCOTUS: to rule on gun rights

After much cogitation following a reading of the oral arguments, it is apparent if the plaintiffs were to drink less coffee on range days there wouldn't be much of any call for bathroom breaks, and the High Court can now move on, case closed.

Re: CRUZ and CORNYN introduce Reciprocity bill

:rules: This thread on H.B. 38/The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act may be an old thread, but it's hardly a dead thread. It is a little confusing, however as to how you get what you get. Question: Does the below excerpt from the current 2019 bill hold a person does not need a concealed handgun permit...

This: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2018-02-28/how-defective-guns-became-the-only-product-that-can-t-be-recalled This article casts a big shadow on Taurus. But after reading it, if I was going to trust carrying another Taurus, it would be a Model 856 revolver. I haven't set up to post pict...

Re: grips for j frame

The answer to your problem is a three-fingered grip by Pachmayr or Hogue. I don't personally like the Pac's. Too fat. Find the Hogues at http://www.getgrip.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. They come in soft rubber or in many various woods. Plenty of ebay sellers of both ...

They did not die in vain. And you do not drink alone today. A toast to all who served, and who serve.

Re: In thanks to TexasCHLforum's veterans...

Not to dis the U.S. service men and women of Vietnam, but I will lay it on thick about the politicians and gub'mt bureaucrats who got 59,000 American soldiers killed, most unnecessarily. One of those fuctionaries, former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, owned up to it in later years. Vietnam wa...

Re: IWB vs. OWB

All other things being equal, IWB hides better than OWB under a covering garment, but an OWB is more comfortable by far. I'm talking about high ride holsters whereby you can access your gun quickly. Those low ride IWB's look like they would work for people who want to carry a gun and are willing to ...
