Re: anyone still carry a 1911?

I've always been if the belief that .45 is better than 9mm. But 15 is better than 8. Well, I carry a Para 1911 with 16 of 10. I've considered carrying my Tanfoglio elite match lol. 15rds of 10mm. I have a Tanfoglio set up with magazines, slides and barrels to shoot: 10mm, 38 super and .45. D...

I know the answer under the current law would be that the electric button would be the trigger, but under the concept that ...

Re: Anybody bought body armor? Thinking about it....

Thanks everyone for your thoughts so far. The AR500 stuff is really attractive for the price, but I hear the "buy once, cry once" a lot. Will look into the suggested sights, and try to decide what my POU for the armor would be. If it's short stints on the property during unrest, the heavier stuff w...

Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion

That said, the shooter here likely could not legally carry a handgun, so I can't fault him on this point. His other mistake was that he could not legally carry a rifle either. In Wisconsin, it is illegal for a minor to be in possession of any loaded weapon. This has been my biggest concern since we...

So as I read more facts I see I’m wrong on my post. I still think he should have stayed home but the more I read and see the more it favors him legally.
Did you read where he worked there as a community lifeguard and just stayed after work?

How this plays out is going to be most interesting and will probably depend, in large part, on how the election plays out, you reckon?
Maybe Trump will pardon him if he gets convicted or befor he leaves office if he doesn't win.

Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion

After you shoot a few folks you just don't flee the scene and run home to another state. Looks bad and allows a prosecutor down the road to make the usual comment oh flight is evidence of guilt. Leaving the scene and fleeing to another state---that was not a wise decision in my opinion. Just my opi...

I have 3 sets of AR500 and really like it. One set stays in my truck with me.
