Re: upset female wanting to buy gun

Upset crying female at gun store wanting to buy a gun saying she can't go home. That is LE jargon and what was put out to the officers. We all knew what it meant along with everybody else that was working. Please start watching COPS to familiarize yourself. I don't see any LE jargon here, just a poo...

Just be careful. I can see the media getting this info and using it against us.

Re: upset female wanting to buy gun

Well, there are no details in your post except she said that she can't go home. I'm guessing the police were called because the store asked her to leave and she didn't, thus she was trespassing. I imagine stuff like this happens all the time. Customer isn't happy with store, store asks the customer...

Re: Response From DPS Regarding Policies When Encountering C

A couple of things, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is federal. State requests fall under the Open Records Act. Regardless, if it looks and smells like an ORA request, the agency must honor the request. You are requesting documents and not research. They don't have to compile statistics for y...

Gun stores that don't allow CHL carry

I found it ironic moving to TX and seeing gun stores with signs saying no concealed carry inside. In liberal California the gun stores I frequented had signs saying LEO's and CHL(ccw there) holders could carry inside.

upset female wanting to buy gun

Overheard a call on an adjoining jurisdiction earlier. Upset crying female at gun store wanting to buy a gun saying she can't go home. Store called police. Never heard the outcome, but interesting none the less.

Re: Response From DPS Regarding Policies When Encountering C

I guess one can just flash their CHL badge and all is good "rlol" Makes as much sense as LEO's treating a citizen as a thief, with no PC or RS that they have stolen anything. Or treating them like a violent criminal, when they have not committed a violent crime. Im very ok with LEO having a legal r...

I keep it quiet. You never know who is listening and you might find your car burglarized when you get back

Re: Carry in Vehicle without a license.

Here is another variable: What if I owned the business? Someone suggested to me that this was permitted but I was still unsure. I'm assuming it comes from this: "on the person's own premises or premises under the person's control" but I'm not too confident after reading it myself. I am a little rel...
