Again, and again, each time I see one of these things, I miss big cities less and less. Moved out of Ft. Worth a few years ago, as it began to grow leaps and bounds. While I consider Ft. Worth to still be a pretty good place for a city, I know that won't last. I truly fear that our state will go the way of California some day before too long has passed, where a handful of left-winger big cities control the entire state, with little to no regard for what those in the smaller cities, towns, and rural areas want. This mess in Houston is merely indicative of the greater problem before us.
