I agree but if I fired my weapon, I would alert everyone around me that I am a concealed handgun license holder so I don't get shot by another CHL holder, also saying so MIGHT let other around you know that you are a good guy. In addition I would state for someone to call the police, probably direct someone to do so.
example. I am licensed to carry a handgun, is everyone alright? You there, in e blue shirt, call 911.
