Re: 721 & 722 Shooters?

I have a 722 in .243 that I inherited from my grandfather. There's no telling how many deer that think has killed, as well as at least one pickup load of coyotes.

LTC Class Barter

I taught an LTC class today and as I was doing registration, one of the students mentioned that he had killed two axis deer yesterday. I jokingly told him I would trade his class fee for one of them. He responded "heck yes". So we made a trade. I now have a fresh axis doe boned, trimmed an...

Re: Driving to Kansas this weekend

I use and recommend a smartphone app called CCW. I actually use it in CHL classes when talking about reciprocity. Easy to use and updated often. (I have no affiliation with this product other than that of a satisfied customer).

Re: Moving to Austin area

A good answer probably requires a bit more info...you say you're moving to the Austin area. Do you know exactly where? What type of temporary housing? Many Austin apts might prohibit weapons, but most of the rural areas probably will not which would allow you to keep your guns with you. Good luck an...

Need Correct Email Address

I was in the January instructors class and the email addresses Sherry gave us for she and Sgt. Baumsch were incorrect. Could someone please pm me with the correct ones? I have an issue with an incorrect DL on a student that I'm not getting fixed through the regular contact process on the website. Th...

Re: Gun cleaning

If you are mechanically inclined at all, I'd say go for the gold! There are lots of youtube videos on dis-assembly and reassembly. Watch several of them before you tackle it and then decide how far you want to go. They are actually very easy to take apart and with a bit of patience, go back together...
