Re: Gotta vent for a minute

Never thought about 51%. Don’t see how they sell 51% of their revenue in alcohol.
Average seat price of 55.00 x 14,000= 770,000. That’s a lotta booze sold, even at 10.00 a beer

Gotta vent for a minute

Actually 2 vents  . The CFO and I went to the new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth Sunday evening for a Mercy Me concert. For those that don’t know, Mercy Me is the Christian group that sings I Can Only Imagine. Vent/rant #1. I could not find anything about them being posted. However, not wanting t...

Re: In need of prayers please-UPDATE

Well, I went back to my doc and he sent me to a neurosurgeon. He did a CT scan and determined I didn’t Ned surgery but he did do injections into my neck and stabilized it with a collar. That was 2 weeks ago. Went back Friday and had the collar removed and everything is doing great. Still have numbne...

Re: Any bank recommendations?

We have had our personal account at Chase for many years without issue. We tried Wells Fargo for our business when we first opened only because they were close. Had multiple problems with them the first 6 months so we closed that account and moved everything to Chase. 6 years there now with business...

Re: Nov 14th - "AndyC" a US Citizen

Thank you very much, everyone - it was a thrilling day and I was blessed to have people dear to me attend. This has been a long path and very worthwhile; I am SO, so proud to finally and truly be one of you - god bless the USA and her amazing, wonderful people :patriot: At least for those of us on ...

Re: Forum members dog poll

Currently we have 3. A golden retriever, a pit bull, and a put together dog (when she is in her summer cut she looks like a stuffed animal with legs and head sewn on). All are rescues.

Re: Defense Plan Without Firearm Worked Tonight

So glad you are okay and didn't have to use deadly force. I heard about the gunfire up around Rochelle last night. I am not sure if you have the app "Next Door" or not. It is an app that you can set up for specific areas or neighborhoods that will keep you up on some of the latest goings on. I get a...

After going through a similar attack and prostate cancer, I do not feel any prayers are wasted so I am praying for you. Like others have said, do what the docs say to do.

Re: Reasons to get a 1911 and which one?

I have had a lot of reliability issues with 1911s, plain ones and fancy ones. Those words have been uttered about every gun ever made, by one man or another. I've seen glocks and M&P's fail, even a couple of sig's and XD's. If you "have had a lot of reliability issues" with multiple 1911's, you are...

Re: Reasons to get a 1911 and which one?

All that said, I want to caution you about buying a 1911. The confounded things can multiply like rabbits. That is God's honest truth! It was at my house for a while too, although we’ve managed to trim that back a little bit. I’m down to 2, my son to 2, and my DIL still has 1. That’s 5 under ...

In need of prayers please-UPDATE

I normally don’t ask for prayers for myself but now I feel I must 3 weeks ago I tripped over my golden retriever and broke my forearm flattened (for lack of a better English term) 2 discos in my neck and pinched at least a couple of nerves. All was healing okay but still pretty sore and 3 numb finge...
