Provided the land is owned by the State or a municipality, if the locations off limits by statute are removed, then they cannot legally bar LTC holders from entering the premises with a concealed or openly carried firearm. Something else that needs to be addressed at the same time is the "arms length lease" arrangements that some of these locations have made in the past where the lessees are the ones posting the location, not the governmental entity who owns the property (e.g. Dallas Zoo, many convention halls).
