Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Bonkers Beto?
Break the Law Beto?
Boring Beto?

And for his supports I will just use the name I used during the campaign: Beto Bots, now that I know of his CDC roots it's even more fitting...

Re: Gunmaker Remington can be sued over marketing of rifle used in Sandy Hook shooting, court rules

Keep in mind that we have a state supreme court saying that state law applies and that the Federal law doesn't, Remington can still appeal this ruling to the federal system and take this ruling to the federal supreme court if need be. While it looks bad, this could actually get a USSC ruling that wo...

Re: HB 357 Constitutional Carry

Feels like liberals from California are flooding into Texas as Texans, move out. I fear that in a couple of decades, you won't be able to tell a political difference in Texas and California. It will never happen. Only because California keeps moving left. But you're right that Texas will soon be fa...

you call 911, you're going to be watching out for them....I know, I've done it. That's just odd behaviour. And if he thought there were still people in his house, what the heck was he doing in the house? Where does it say he called 911? This is a tragic event but if I'm in my own house, the alarm i...

Re: Midland PD officer shot and killed. Edited

Not sure on any details currently, my understanding is Midland PD was responding to a burglar alarm, not a call from the homeowner. Latest I have heard is the homeowner either did not hear, or did not believe, the officers when they announced that they were LEOs. One rumor is the homeowner was aslee...

Re: Midland PD officer shot and killed.

Currently I am hearing the homeowner has been charged with manslaughter. I have not heard if the officers identified or not, just the home owner never heard them identify.

Midland PD officer shot and killed. Edited

This is a developing story but an officer with the Midland Texas Police Department was shot and killed while responding to a residential burglar alarm. The homeowner reportedly did not hear the officers identify themselves and thought the officers were burglars. The deceased was hit above his vest w...

Re: WTB PS90

Due to the size of their inventory, Sharp Shooters in Lubbock is likely your best bet. They tend to be a little higher priced, especially on the more unusual stuff. Additionally I would also check with lone star shooting sports in Lubbock, they may have received one since they seem to turn over thei...

Re: TX Law regarding Rifle, Pistol & Firearm - Vehicle Carry

But does anyone have any specifics for a Firearm ? Firearms being less than 16" but greater than 26" OAL, with no stock but has a vertical grip? Basically, it is an AR15 pistol configuration. -Bryan Look at the Texas definition of a handgun in chapter 46 of the penal code. If it meets THAT definiti...

Re: HB 1166 - Fines for Signs Modifications

Bad bill, the owned and occupied in place of the owned or leased language is a loss for gun owners. If I own a piece of property I can not give you authority on that property that I do not have myself by leasing it to you and the government should not be able to do so either. Then you have the dange...

I don't have a MAGA hat for a number of reasons. First, I don't wear hats. Second is that I wish to avoid confrontation and Third is that America has always been great so we can't do it 'again'.

Re: Ruger vaquero

I got one of a run of .45 convertibles, and love it. I truly enjoy the looks I get when I go to the range and use a 1911 magazine to load .45 ACP into a single action revolver (Think of it as a single action speed loader). I bought it because I wanted a single action in .45 Colt and it was the only ...

Here's my take on this... Essential: Needed to protect life, liberty, and property Non-essential: Needed to operate government functions not related to the protection of Life, liberty, and property) Unneeded: People whose jobs do not have a significant work load when they get back. An example of an...
