Your reasoning appears spot-on to me and I wish you well in finding what's right for you. Your idea to "carry around the house" is excellent of course and I wish my wife had a similar interest to your own. I really like the design of the Kangaroos and will probably pick one of those up if I can figure-out which of the 3 models to get. I do wonder for a woman though whether their design might sometimes interfere with (ahem) comfort.
