I wanted to follow up with my slow but steady progress. I finally was able to hit the range this weekend for the 1st time in 2016 (handgun or rifle). Spent a coupe hours Saturday morning out at the Garland Range. Absolutely perfect weather.

Here are the results of my 2nd outing: 10 rounds @100 yards. After my 1st shot (cold bore) was 1/2" left 2" high, doing some adjustments and getting settled down, I was able to place 6 rounds sub-MOA in a dime size group. I couldn't be more pleased. One thing I have learned is, I still have a lot to learn...

Welcome on board. I am a member at FGC and I do shoot 300WM PSR rifle. If you are interested to tag along on a weekend to shoot, just let me know.

This is what makes me excited at the FGC range:

Thank you for the invite. I will PM you when I believe I'll have the time to hit the range again. (Only took 7 months after purchasing to finally shoot it... :grumble  )

Outing @ Frisco Gun Club 100 yard rifle bay to zero in the scope, and break-in procedure on the rifle (15 rounds). My first 5 shots are obvious. The remaining 10 make me happy.
