Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, 1973. Drive through an unblocked ambush. Blocked ambush, dismount and assault. Obviously, a military response is not always appropriate in a civilian setting, but the mindset is similar. Have a plan that fits the rules of engagement, practice the plan, work the plan.Soccerdad1995 wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 1:13 pmoljames3 wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 7:08 pm I feel the most important lesson here is to learn how the armed protestors operate so as to be able to formulate and effective set of pre-made decisions.

One of my pre-made decisions when facing armed criminals is to not get boxed in and to never leave my vehicle unless it is physically unable to move. If forced to exit, I'll have as much firepower as I can reach.
The military taught me to fight through an ambush and to never ever stop in the field of fire.
