In my mailbox on afternoon of 26 May. 18 days. Not a world record, but pretty decent. Especially since the old one doesn’t expire until November.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Just remembered to check the website, and Whoa! It's been mailed! Haven't checked the mailbox for a couple days, so better do that on the way home. Yay!

Re: "Waiting Room"
Put in my renewal online today, posting this as a marker.
If my fingerprints and DL picture fly, hope for quick turn. Altho I am still as dashing and handsome as ever, that DL pic has been on there a long time, afraid they might want a refresh.

Re: "Waiting Room"
?? I mailed my renewal package on 20 May, via USPS, in the DPS supplied envelope. I requested delivery confirmation, which according to the clerk meant it had to go priority mail, for which I coughed up about $6. I got delivery confirmation on line -- it was delivered the next day, 21 May, at 0749.Fixintu wrote:I think I'm screwed. I mailed my completed application packet in on 04/21/08 via certified mail with the US Postal Service. I never received a confirmation of delivery as they said they cannot provide proof of delivery for a P.O. box.
I didn't pay attention to the address on the DPS supplied envelope, so don't know if it was a P.O. Box or not -- seems like it was a street address tho. Also, when you pay for delivery confirmation, you get a tracking number to use on line at the USPS.com website. They should have given you a receipt with the number on it, plus I think it also appears on the cash register receipt.
Are you sure you really sent it to the right place with delivery confirmation?
