Use extreme caution here... I happen to own some restaurant/bars in Houston many of you have probably heard of. Alamo Draft house derives a substantion percentage of their revenue from the on premise sale of alcoholic beverages. Sometimes their number get very close to or even exceed 50%. One of the...

What to do? I am going to Kalifornia

My fiance and I are going to go a weekend trip to San Diego next month. Don't know what to do about carrying though. Since I got my CHL, I've carried almost every day. Its almost to the point that if I am not carrying, I feel debilitatingly unsafe. What to do? Can I get a temp permit from the State ...

There was a Harris County Sheriff deputy standing off to the side of where the guy was doing bag searches. That's really odd... I didn't see any LEO from Harris County, and if I did, would have found that to be even odder that he would be in uniform so far from his jurisdiction :). I did see a Bexa...

CHL goes well with roadrage

Let me start by saying that I don't typically get road rage. I do sometimes get quite annoyed with drivers, but for the most part, I usually go about my business, figuring that bad driving and other road-ragers were just a part of life. In the past, whever someone would pull some idiotic roadrage mo...

I think that was a figure of speech. Don't take it too seriously. I often say things like "I'll shoot myself if I have to hear that song again", but I certainly don't intend to. I also joke with my girlfriend and say things like "bitch, bring me a beer before I come over there and sma...

You don't need targets. Just go to an indoor range and send the target holder all the way downrange and have her shoot at the blinder clippy things that hold the targets. Once she demonstrates 95-99% accuracy with hitting the binder clips at 15 yards, I am confident she should be able to pass with f...

I used to have a Beretta 92FS, and it was quite easy to rack, however, it is quite a large weapon and doesn't conceal too well. Maybe she could put it in her purse.
