Re: Problem with Gun
First try different ammo. Unusual for an XD to mess up. Does it extract okay during normal firing or just when you do it manually. Remove the magazine and try it to see what happens. Never mind on the first question. I just saw that you said it's only manually. It might just need some more bre...

Re: Please Post Your Favorite Chili Recipies
I have found that most people really like their own chili more than they do others. lol It's best to discover your own recipe tailored to your taste. Some folks I know won't give out their recipes. Don't forget the jalapeno cornbread. lol

Re: Age At Class Time
Wouldn't it be a good idea to check with the instructor? Different instructions may have different policies. Just a thought. Maybe class size would be an issue.

Re: Need help - our new employee got arrested a week ago
Just tell her she will have to submit to a drug test before coming back to work. You'll have to pay for it. Probably she will quit. I would start doing pre- employment drug screenings as part of your hiring policy. I did this for new hires at one place I worked. After they fill out application and y...

Just ask yourself if the Constitution is a good thing, and you'll have your answer.

I've noticed the same thing happening on some threads and not others. Sometimes when you put cursor on one it reads "Unread Post" Not big deal but kinda strange. Gun Beer does it to me also

Re: HB 1050 - Ad Valorem Tax Reform
I don't like that a bunch of realtors have so much influence on property values. Maybe a flat rate would be something to consider. Could also continue exemptions and deductions for over 65 and Homestead.

Re: Wife Passed her LTC Class
Congratulations! My wife and I went through the process together several years ago. A fun and enjoyable thing to do together. I remember during our proficiency test the instructor complimenting my wife on how well she loaded her magazines. Guess who taught her.

Thanks! I needed a good laugh. I know it's just a joke, but while I was reading it thinking it was reality, I questioned them using a fire extinguisher on her, and handcuffs.

Re: Silencer should be allowed for LTC/ CHL holder?
Why limit it to LTC holders? Tell your representatives to support the "Hearing Protection Act" and let freedom ring! Be careful of what you wish for. When they find out how well they work it may become mandatory for all guns. Where I live, every year residence complain about the noi...

Re: Silencer should be allowed for LTC/ CHL holder?
I don't know why they need to be registered, regulated or licensed period for anyone. I wish people would quit calling them silencers. There's no such thing. They suppress not silence. And without the right ammo they don't do a very good job of that either. Why don't they license and register camouf...

Re: Do you refuse to do business with 30.06 & 30.07 businesses?
Only the 30.06 ones. What's the logic in that? Well, I can understand why a business wouldn't want open carry. If they have a 30.06 sign that means they don't want any guns inside their business. I answered the question honestly and really don't need to be lectured. I don't open carry so the 30.07 ...
