Anyway, sounds like you and the officer had a nice and cordial transaction.
Good question! As I left town there was a speed zone of 45 then it went to 55 and eventually to 75 outside of town.
When he lit me up I was just at the 55 mph speed zone sign and I looked at my speedometer and I was just under 55..
So, it is possible he clocked me going say 51 in a 45 but that would be speculation on my part.
Anyway, I am glad it turned out the way it did!

Lit Up-Sonora,Texas

Headed northbound out of town on 277--LEO southbound and lit me up.
Pulled over to right shoulder.
.
LEO-I pulled you over for your speed.
Me--Here is my driver's license and handgun license if you would like to look at them.
LEO-Where is your handgun?
Me--In the console.
LEO-Nods.
LEO-Let me go back and check some things if you are clear I just give you a warning. (he checking warrants).
Me-I said thank you.
LEO returns in about 3 minutes--Okay you are good to go I just give you a warning ticket for speeding.
Me--thank you sir, I will try better to watch my speed and thank you for your service to our community!
LEO--Acts surprised--thank you sir, have a good day.
I looked at the warning ticket--The spaces for posted speed and actual speed were left blank...:) I wonder if he was "fishing?"
So, whole incident took less than ten minutes.
LEO was very professional and polite the entire time.
