Re: Houston we got a problem... Live Rd jammed
I am late to the party - but the case bulge and the rim snapped off looks like you may overgassed and possibly underbuffered. The gas pressure starts moving the casing before it has had time to shrink after firing, sometimes causing the bolt to move and tear off a chunk of case rim. Maybe...

Re: Online Backup Service ?
My opinion is that if you want to give your personal data to someone you don't know, you may as well give it to me! Seriously, I cannot imagine anyone in their right mind using any of those services. I guess I am just outta touch as well. I use an external Seagate and have other backups to mini sds...

You are just making this hard on yourself. Leave your firearm in the car and go into the office. Don't overthink this.

Re: Alligator defense question
Thanks for that great info above. I would have thought that TPWD game wardens fulfill the function of enforcement on Rayburn as they do on other Texas waterways... but you know what they say about the word "assume". TPWD has authority to enforce Texas laws on USACE and other Federal lands...

Re: Alligator defense question
Can anyone expound on this please? The property adjoining the lake is private property. At some point there is an invisible line on the shore where we step onto USACOE property (dry land) as we approach the water's edge. Is the entire water surface (submerged land) considered "federal" fo...

Re: Medications and CHL question
I think (think because it has been a while since I have read the entire rule) that the license disqualification is if there is a "chemical dependency" (illegal drugs or substances) rather than a legally prescribed compound such as an anxiety medication. As long as one has not been committe...

Re: Medications and CHL question
Maybe try Lorazepam? Don't have to take it daily just when the anxiety level goes high. Less chance of addiction and withdrawal.

In Freshman classes Cape May NJ. My dad (stepfather) was immediate ordered aboard the cutter Agassiz and they left for who knows where. He had been gone during the Cuban embargo which scared us greatly - this one really set our hair afire.
