Re: Mattress - WAY OFF TOPIC
Also have Tempur-Pedic, like it, but with a caution. It is heavy and awkward. If you are physically challenged, or weakened by health issues like I am, changing the sheets or rotating the mattress can be exhausting.

Re: Colt Python New VS Old model.
Owned three Colt revolvers in late '60s and early '70s. I have handled the most recent (in '23) Colt revolver products and, while smooth, they do not seem as smooth as I remember the old Colts (trigger smooth, glass snap, cylinder effortless). I guess the only real way to tell would be find a couple...

Re: Liberty Safe backdoor access
I have three electronic safes/vaults (various sizes). Changed the codes on all, but the default code supplied by the manufacturer also still works. Don't know if it is true for other makers though.

Re: "Potentially addicted" per my doctor
my VA doc prescribed an alpha stim machine that clears out the crap in the head and lets you sleep... https://alpha-stim.com/ The machine sounds interesting and I will research it for sure. Like most folks I would take something like that over these stupid pills every time. Yes, the contract/form t...

Re: "Potentially addicted" per my doctor
I did try melatonin. Kept me awake for most of the night, then, as you noted, some really wild nightmare dreams. Way worse than my normal REM disturbances. Maybe I should try again. Sucks!

"Potentially addicted" per my doctor
I will try to make this short. I have been on a low dose (.5mg) of Clonazepam (Klonopin) for ten years because I have REM sleep disturbances (sleepwalking, trying to escape, fighting, etc). It was originally prescribed by my neurologist but he left and the prescribing was taken over by my primary ca...

Re: WTB MEC Case Conditioner 12 Ga
I believe the case conditioner from MEC is no longer being sold by them. I guess someone might have one somewhere. However, the sizing ring, deprime, and crimp opener, on my MEC reloaders always worked just fine even with shells I picked up from other shooters. Never had one stick. Are you having tr...

Re: Court challenge to remove 30.06 etc signs and post 'gunbuster' signs instead.
Their complaint (link to filing is in Houston article) states that the dedication of such a huge space for the signs detracts visually, and is expensive ($100.00 per sign?!), and should be replaced with a simple gun shape outline with a red bar (similar to what several states currently use to bar co...

Court challenge to remove 30.06 etc signs and post 'gunbuster' signs instead.
Has anyone taken notice of this court case? Rather stupid reasoning in my opinion.

Re: UMd researchers promote gun safety for gangbangers...
The inclusion of Critical Theory and structural Marxism is just the usual fluff that professors lay out on their analysis of everything these days. What I found highly amusing was the scenario of going into some high crime area and teaching a bunch of gangbangers and thugs to properly store their we...

Re: UPS Ammo Shipments Going Missing
Probably happening at the dock or during shipping. Years ago (early 70s), I drove a truck on contract to USPS for a mail route to several Wilmington (DE) post offices. I watched dock workers carry tires to their cars (yep, tires were tape wrapped and sent through the post office), and various sized ...
