Two suspects who recently murdered a pct 3 deputy, were both out on bond for previous murders.
I would like to say “unbelievable” but… unfortunately it’s quite believable. The judges setting these ridiculous bail amounts should be be jailed when ever one of their bailees goes off the rails.
The judge that released them should be charged as an accessory

The means streets of Houston brought to you today by Harris County Deputies who broke down a door at the wrong address to make an arrest warrant.

They were told it was the wrong address by the retired former police officer and his son through the closed door. But they broke it down anyway. Manhandled them and then realized their error.

Harris County is saying they will replace the door.

Maybe a check list like pilots have before breaking down a door.
Maybe sue the pants off the houston P.D. and especially the police chief!

Houston man out on bond, murders two people.
The Person or Persons responsible for releasing these people should be held as accessories to the crime! At the very least be prosecuted for accessory to murder!

Friendswood woman came home from work and was robbed at gunpoint as she went to the mail box.

She had earlier gone to the bank and withdrew $9,000 in cash from the bank. So it appears she had been “jugged”.

Why $9000 and not $10,500?

All smells fishy to me.
10K is where the Bank will make a report to big brother. Maybe it is money they made working for cash. Many folks do jobs for cash to avoid the IRS. Most of those I have heard of though don't put it in the bank where it can be recorded. I don't know that it means she was up to something illegal except maybe tax evasion. Maybe 9K was all they needed. The story mentioned this happened to another person recently but it simply called it a large amount of cash. What I wondered was why she went to the mailbox with 9 grand in her pocket. That is some serious lack of situational awareness. When I am running around with a large amount of cash on me, I am like a cat on a hot tin roof until after i get it secured in some way.

Grandmother ambushed, dragged and car jacked while gassing up at a well lighted service station in NW Houston.

Wife should have gotten out of Dodge.
...
Unfortunately this can quite literally be near-impossible psychologically. That where friends and family come in. :/
Having been called to too many domestics I have more than once told the Girlfriend/wife to get out before he kills you! Their almost verbatim response was "I love him and it's not his fault, I made him mad and that's why he lost his temper" I have seen these women beg the Cops to not take their boyfriend/husband to jail even though they had blackeyes, split lips, bloody nose, bruised or broken arms, etc.
Best thing the State of Texas did was to take the pressing of charges out of these women's hands!
