Re: Irresponsible dog owner

Once you have been put on notice that you own a “dangerous”dog, you are more easily held accountable for the dog’s actions.

Re: Ask Amy...

Children should be taught to fear guns until they are old enough to be taught to responsibly handle them (even if they never willingly do so). The basic, safe handling of a firearm is a life skill. When the population was largely rural it was simply passed down like changing a tire or watering plan...

Re: Watch Where You Walk

We have no venomous snakes at my place, just Bull snakes. I just pick them up and relocate them so they don’t startle my wife. Are you IN Texas? We have venomous snakes across the state! :fire Grew up in W. Texas. Attended A & M. Currently there are no poisoned snakes where I live. Have experienced...

Re: Watch Where You Walk

A couple weeks ago my buddy was pulling some wood out of his wood pile and was greeted by a Coral snake. He killed it with a 4' long shovel. There is no way I'd have gotten that close! Someone needs to educate themselves about snakes. Unless you let that poor Coral snake chew on you your friend kil...

I would think the afore mentioned bull owner owes somebody a new bull!
Bull was not killed. Scraped up a bit. Good 5 wire fence ruined. Surprisingly, not much done to the scum neighbor.

Re: June 6, 1944

:iagree: I would hesitate to make tiers of heroism based upon scale or outcome. Full stop. The soldiers in different wars/ places had different orders and in some cases they were handcuffed by politicians. I'm for allowing anyone being shot at, assaulted or targeted to respond as brutally as possibl...

Re: Deadly force to protect livestock?

It is illegal to shoot a neighbors Bull even if he kills your Bull on your own property . I cannot imagine killing a human for killing your livestock would be acceptable. Not that I agree with that sentiment .
