Re: Shooting In Abilene

This incident happened on September 1st, but I just saw it. An argument between neighbors ended up with one dead and two people arrested. The tagline from ABC11 Eyewitness News Houston is: "Abilene father and son charged with killing neighbor allegedly over fight about garbage" It's a very sad situ...

Re: TX: Man killed after shooting up a Houston Whataburger

I don't get the grand jury part. BG is shooting up the place. Off duty security guard takes him down. What is there to decide? If it had been an off duty copy that shot the BG would they refer it to a grand jury? If the GGWAG had been an LTC holder, would they have arrested him? You probably want i...

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

Andy - do you lube and size your bullets? These are already sized just right (.358), but if they weren't I'd get one of the cheap Lee sizing dies and run them through that. Lube - it's a TL (Tumble Lube) mold so they throw bullets designed to be used with Lee Alox; I've coated them in that and let ...

Better to have it go to a grand jury than be arrested.

Broke out the old Lee pot...

Cast up 340 of the 158gr .38/.357 Lee TL SWCs and water-quenched them for hardness:

I respect and thank him for his military service. I can't say much positive about his political career, but I also won't speak ill of the dead. I'll just say RIP and pray for his family.

Re: Lockpick set

That's one pen I would keep up with. Better get an official looking Locksmith in Training card to go along with that. What’s the possible legal liability if you don’t? IANAL and don't know Texas law, but read the post by Grundy1133 ive been in the lockpicking hobby for about 8 years now. it's a sup...

Good, you can remind me because I intend to forget all about it until I get "The Call" This is a great thread. What a cool project. I'm looking forward to seeing how she turns out. I'm glad others appreciate it, or I might start to suspect that I'm a trifle odd... What do you mean by trifle? ...

Re: Texas Ranked America’s Top State for Business

I'm kinda torn. Yay for Texas being the model for America :patriot: :txflag: But that is a reason why people from the left coast are migrating here like locusts. Granted we do get the occasional refugee, but for the most part, they'll band together to dismantle the foundation of what makes Texas gr...
