Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

Some information that I had not seen. There are not a whole lot of details, but some interesting information. July 30, 2019 A botched drug raid led to a wave of leaks. Cops peeking at internal records then found themselves under investigation . Amid a wave of workplace rumors and leaks to the media ...

Re: The Much-Maligned, Under-powered 30 U.S. Carbine

During the 60s the DCM sold some surplus M1 Carbines. My mom bought one for around $15. It's previous [GI} owner carved up the stock a little, but my mom spent many hours sanding it down and refinishing the entire stock. Later on she gave it to me. I enjoyed shooting it. I didn't shoot it very often...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

I would still like to hear who shot who. Will we ever know if it was all friendly fire? Or if the husband even had gun powder residue on his hands? I read some information about the forensic team hired by the attorney Michael Doyle. He hired some retired NCIS investigators to do a forensic analysis...

First time that I have read this Goines became involved in the case regarding the Harding Street home shortly after receiving a tip from a fellow officer, who got the tip from her girlfriend, according to prosecutors. https://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/houston/article/Gerald-Goines-Houston-pol...

Re: PA: Gun like hand gesture now a crime.

IMO most disorderly conduct laws are a catch all that can be used to arrest a person just because they don't have anything else to charge them with. In this case, there was prior history of animosity towards each other, but IMO that should have no bearing on the whether or not the person was charged...

Re: TX:Judge orders man to pay 96k in divorce settlement even though she was married to two other men

Here is another story. Apparently this woman has a criminal history. She probably had a better attorney than Athans. However, according to Athans, his son began to research Parchem and learned she had a criminal history. “Some things just didn’t add up,” Athans said. “He went and did a background c...
