Re: If you need a smile

I read that article , I like Kurts’s articles! Went to a Walmart today, wasn’t expecting any paper goods, but got lucky and found a Walmart employee trying to stock TP and PT. There was a line of people and he was handing out product, limit one package of each. Got mine and made sure I told him that...

Re: Coronapocalypse Projects & Pastimes

Purchased a used RCBS RCII about 4 years ago, included a trimmer, scale and some extras. It was parked on my bench for those 4 years. Decided to mount it to my bench this past weekend. Had a spare piece of redwood about 2 inches thick, cut it to about 12” x 12” and chamfered the corners. Mounted the...

Re: Closed gun ranges

Although all matches are cancelled at NTSA until the board meets again on the 8th ( when they will decide again) it is my understanding the range is still open for members and member’s guests.

Run on Ammo

Noticed ammo prices have increased and supply decreased.
SG Ammo not even accepting orders at this time.
The only thing cheap and in supply is gasoline.
Anyone else seen the same?

Re: Shoot Smart Ammo Selling Policy

Just ordered 2000 of 9mm ball.
I also keep some SD for carry and home defense but like to have stock of ball for practice and monthly matches AND, just in case the neighbors might need some.

Re: Shoot Smart Ammo Selling Policy

I just checked my usual outlets for 9mm, PSA and SG, economical bulk ammo is not there, only the more expensive ammo is available.

Re: Former Green Beret Reveals #1 Shooting Drill You Aren’t Doing Right (or Enough!)

I agree too. I am amazed at how many folks with an LTC that carry fail to be able to draw, aim or just point and fire in a reasonable amount of time, 2 to 3 seconds. During a recent dry fire training event with a group of about 20 people, about half had major trouble just drawing from a holster. Aft...

Re: Sheepdog Safety Training Seminars

I attended the Hurst session. Carried concealed, no problems. Did hear Jack Wilson speak, that was good. Very good! Jack was a surprise speaker, trip was worth that. The young lady lawyer from US/TX Shield spoke for some time, she was good. I just wanted a refresher on use of force. Kinda got it. Th...
