Re: Honey Badger "temporarily" ok again

If Trump wins re-election, he darn well better make purging the ATF an administrative priority. These rogue ATF agents and attorneys HAVE to either be dismissed, or transferred into depts and positions where they can do no harm. I'm voting for Trump. But let's not forget that he pressured the ATF i...

Re: The Pope

I have been a Catholic my entire life. Attended Catholic schools for my early education, have an aunt who is a nun. Pope Francis lost me when he said that walls around countries are "evil". This while he was, and is, the leader of a country that has a wall around it's entire border. I am not sure ho...

Re: Rep. Gaetz Calls on ATF to Cease Plans Restricting Arm Brace Usage

How do they square the fact they approved the arm braces, then after thousands are in circulation to suddenly ban them? I Know it's the GOVT but they makes 0 sense! Does the term arbitrary and Capricious come to mind? This is precisely what happened with the redefining of bump stocks as "machine gu...

Re: Covid and 51%

Since establishments cannot legally be open right now unless they get less than 51% of their revenue from alcohol sales, can't we simply assume that any establishment that is open for business is NOT a 51% location? In other words, do we even need to worry about searching for a blue or red sign?

Re: VT: 4 year Grocery employee after retrieving stolen purse for customer

It's a bit hard to fault the store owner here. In today's litigious environment, the store owner could be paying a significant penalty if his employee tackled someone and hurt them, especially if the employee was wrong and the person they tackled hadn't stolen anything. Being able to point to a blan...

Re: ND at the gun club today during monthly pistol match

Am I the only one surprised that anyone is still shooting pistol matches given the current price of ammo (that you can actually get)? If you are not lucky enough to find it in stock at a retailer, then the going price seems to be over 50 cents per round for basic 9mm FMJ ammo. When I shoot IDPA matc...

Re: Strong side carry results in opposite side soreness

I used to experience similar issues when I carried IWB. Switching to OWB and using lighter weight carry guns helped alot (aluminum framed 1911 vs steel, etc). I also started using a "snap" holster that is easy to take on and off. This helps with the driving situation and also was a huge help when I ...

Re: Duty to Provide LTC on Voluntary Identification to LEO?

Crud, more drama but it is all on the civil side. Another interaction with the same deputy last night, when I saw him I handed my DL and LTC to him without being asked. We both had a short chuckle. Drama from last night has subsided, still all on the civil side, son saw a lawyer today and is feelin...

Re: How the 2020 election could go wrong - Dems play wargames

I get the West Coast secession scenario, but why would there then be a civil war? Let them go. Liberals from other major cities could move to the new "Peoples Socialist Republik of Kalifornia" so they wouldn't even need a patchwork of territory scattered about.

Re: BYRNA non lethal handgun

If I was to get this, I would definitely not get one in black. It looks too much like a handgun. I think the yellow one would be a better choice. I never want my non-lethal options to look like an actual gun.

Re: Duty to Provide LTC on Voluntary Identification to LEO?

Because I carry every time I go out of my house I volunteer my LTC whenever I'm asked for ID. Every time the officer says it's not needed. As a practical matter, I do the same, and have the same result. That also covers me in case I happen to forget that I left my range bag in the back of my SUV, e...
