Re: Experience dealing with LEOs during events etc?

... I didn't think they let out of state licensees in with handguns. ... Reciprocity would be largely meaningless if they didn't. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was referring to the State Capitol, which does not operate under the LTC law (e.g. reciprocity and all that). What law,do they operate under? ...

Re: Shortest gun range visit ever

Channel 13 had it on the news tonight. It was at Top Gun range; supposedly during a new shooters class. That would explain why the RSO was watching them so closely. I've been to that range, although not in the last couple years. I remember them being kind of picky about some things. For example, wh...

Re: NPC - the new way to insult liberals

If you are texting them use the "OK" emoji instead of typing the letters. They think its a symbol for the White Supremacists. My iphone auto suggests the offensive emoji. I guess Apple must employ a bunch of skinheads.

Re: Turkey: Saudi journalist last seen at Saudi consulate in Turkey

The only issue I see with this, is the fact that Trump can't win in the eyes of the left. They were "shocked" that he got involved at all, but now that he has, he will be villified as a war monger, if he imposes sanctions, and as a big oil lackey, terrorist enabler, if he doesn't. Mark my words. Th...

Re: New house + insurance

A big +1 on the NRA coverage. Before I learned about it, I had my guns covered by the same company that covers my jewelry (not my homeowners insurance company). The NRA backed policy is a much better deal. Also, how did you cover your guns before you bought the house? I think most renter's insurance...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

I got a text a few days ago from the O'Rourke camp asking how I was going to vote. I just responded with the following: "I've thought about it, and I do like some of the things that Mr. O'Rourke is saying. But at the of the day, as a Latino, I just can't vote to put another White Irish man in Washin...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Very confusing! Lol! White-Irish-American guy with a Mexican nickname running on the D ticket. Cuban-American-Canadian guy named "Ted" running on the R ticket. It's 100% ok to find it confusing. Or as I like to sum it up, we have an Irishman pretending to be Hispanic running against a Latino ...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

There were two people involved in a shooting with no witnesses their interaction other than the survivor. In figuring out what happened every type of evidence about both actors is relevant until investigators examine it and determine it is not. Deciding which kind of evidence is not relevant in adv...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

On the news tonight there was a hispanic saying he was voting or O’Rouke because he was Mexican. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! My wife is Mexican American and is a staunch Democrat. She always corrects me when I tell her I am Hispanic (since my grandfather immigrated from Spain). I love asking her why she is plan...

Re: Trouble Purchasing Rifle at Walmart

I had to make several trips to Wally World to by a rifle a few weeks ago, because their computerized 4473 system was being updated. I put the gun in law a way and made three trips back before they had it fixed. Same process you had with a manager screening then another walking me out. WalMart will ...

Re: Trouble Purchasing Rifle at Walmart

Not surprised!! Its Walmart! The hire people with a good work ethic, not necessarily the brightest. We just set a record with over 7 million unfilled job openings nationwide. If anyone is remotely qualified for a higher paying job, they will not be working at Walmart. In fact, it's a bad time to ex...

Re: NY: When is it self defense?

Antifa are the modern day brownshirts for the new Democratic Socialists we have here in our country. Just like the National Socialist German Workers Party before them, party leadership spouts the hateful rhetoric and the Antifa brownshirts carry out the violence. Maxine Waters, Eric Holder, numerous...

Re: Turkey: Saudi journalist last seen at Saudi consulate in Turkey

So a country that is known for brutal punishments (cutting off the hands of thieves, stoning rape victims for adultery, etc) may have killed one of their citizens on that country's soil - embassies are considered to be that country's territory I believe. I'm confused as to why we care so much about...

Re: 30.05 Law and No Sign

Texas3006 app shows no .06 or .07 signs at the location. Neither the general nor the wedding FAQ's say firearms are not permitted. Perhaps they wrongly believe they are an educational organization like the zoo does. The Dallas zoo no longer believes they are an educational facility. They currently ...
