You'd have to gauge it for yourself. I primarily use MantisX for dry fire, but it is just as amazing for live fire, because live fire is when crucial training for recoil management occurs. Lots of people begin to exhibit a flinch after 9 or 10 rounds of live fire. A coach can run a ball and dummy drill which is helpful, but MantisX does a better job evaluating live fire strings.

I just took a look at their site. This definitely seems valuable. Unfortunately, most of my handguns don't have rails, but I have a few that do. It seems like the same principle as the old "dime washer" drill in basic training that taught us to keep a rifle steady while pulling the trigger.
