Re: Any updates?
Does anyone know the prospects for SB 513? It could be crucially important if it passes, and we might sorely wish for it if it lapses.

Re: "Release the Kraken" ???
I fail to see a benefit of coming onto a large platform with such a decisive and bold statement only to then wait days or longer to actually do something, make a move. To me, that only serves as a potential warning shot to the enemy. Something like this I’d say either say nothing and dump the ...

Re: Honey Badger "temporarily" ok again
At some point Democrats who want to take away our guns are going to win an election. Then What?!?!?! :mad5
Yes. Absolutely true and profoundly depressing. When the continued existence of our form of government depends on Democrats never winning ever, we've already lost the country. We're just ...

Because it is unrelenting and, as you observed, not subjective.

Anyone own a Tavor TS 12 shotgun?
If anyone out there owns the Tavor TS 12 shotgun, I'd be interested in hearing comments. Thanks.
I saw an earlier topic on the Tavor rifle, which included a lot of comments on its accuracy. Were I ever to need to use the shotgun for home defense, it seems likely to be at a range such that accuracy ...

Re: Hawaiian Shirt - the new "hoodie" for the far right.
Way back when I was in SAPD's academy, I was told that if I saw anyone wearing a guayabera (Mexican style shirt designed not to be tucked in), either he was a Mexican or he was carrying a gun. And if he was a Mexican, it was still 50-50 that he was concealing a gun with it.
They were very ...

Heckuva tort case against Shake Shack. Maybe the happy ending will be that the cops get to retire to the beach.

I agree with those advising to call the game warden. Self help could quickly get out of hand, depending on how big a jerk the trespasser is. So don't do that except in defense of human life.

The sorry reporter palooka
Said they'd found a bazooka,
But we're here to tell you it's not, son.
What you're seeing's merely a shotgun.

Re: Definition of "Premises" Regarding 51% Restaurants
Most bars have a license only for on-premises consumption. If they'll serve you on the patio, I would think either that's a part of their premises or they're violating the limits of their license. As a customer, if I were trying to stay clear of the law, I would not leap to the assumption the ...

My guess is that will work until they deplete their distribution centers.Syntyr wrote: Fri Dec 13, 2019 11:32 amI keep going back to find the shelves fully stocked. Re: How High to Place a Demand Feeder?
I haven't measured the height of the tubes on my commercial demand feeder, but I've got game camera pictures of a hog chewing down. Then, as noted elsewhere, you've got to deal with raccoons. They can clean out $200 worth of feed in short order.

Re: This is How Custer Must Have Felt
You won't have time to get up in a tree after you find them. They will be long gone before you get a chance to get them in your sights. They are perhaps the smartest animal in the woods. And they can smell food buried under the dirt.
Beat me to it, but absolutely correct. I've never shot a hog ...
