Re: Lawn care suggestions...

I follow Neil Sperry's recommendations with regard to landscape. His new book, available through his website, has a monthly calendar that details everything that needs to be done within that time frame. Enormously helpful! I live in the same area as you. Our dirt normally calls for nitrogen only fer...

Re: Jump with no Parachute

Luke and one of my nephews are buddies. Nephew has flown for him on jumps many times. We were at Texas Motor Speedway for the Red Bull air races a few years back. I texted my nephew to see if Luke had jumped with the flag. He sent me a pick from the helo he jumped from with the Speedway below. Total...

:txflag: A little bit about being a first responder and what I have experience. A number of times I have been involved with extremely I'll patients and family members or friends have said "All I can do is pray." Definitely check the ingredients. Sugar is a main ingredient in many beer jerky offerings.

Re: Hot-glue bullets

I'd be careful advising discharge of a firearm in an apartment. When we cleared our service weapon to use in Simunition training we had a system set up to assure no live rounds were in the "clean" area despite all barrels be removed and replaced. These rounds are a great idea, however, you will be u...

Was interesting to see that the cartel trucks have Texas plates, but they have their massive shootouts in gun free zones (i.e. Mexico)
I wonder if the Texas plates were associated with the kidnapped Texans?

Where did you get that dog gate? That's the best-looking one I've seen. Most are plastic.

Chas.
Try Frontgate - I've seen (similar) nice ones there
Thanks.

Chas.
A buddy of mine has the same gate. Very nice setup.

Re: No place but Washington State including Seattle naturally

I will give credit to the writer for recognizing the absurdity of this with regard to watering down the teaching of math science by muddling it with a social science. However, he failed to argue, likely on purpose, how this is just another nibble at the heels of the American Spirit by leftist social...

The device in question may be a tear gas launcher or something. That muzzle sure looks like it's 37-40mm in diameter.
My first thought was a bean bag gun. Given they were apparently there for crowd control I would like to thing it was a "less than deadly" tool.

Re: Especially Texan: George Barnard

My wife was a Barnard. Related to George's brother and business partner Charles. The story of Juanita Barnard, captured by Indians and ransomed by the Barnard's for cash and horses, is also very interesting. After Texas independence the Republic of Texas requested a military liaison from th US due t...
