I am in absolute agreement with everything posted so far, but I just noted that this article is almost 4-1/2 years old.

Re: TX: Couple charged with littering with a gun as DA would not accept minor in possession

Sounds like the DA office has a spinning dartboard. When a call comes in from the police they spin it, throw a dart, and whatever it lands on is what they go with. How can they determine, whether to accept charges, with minimal information, provided, by a LEO on the street? I guess, it all depends o...

Re: 4 Texans sentenced for 654 Beretta's stolen from UPS in Missouri.

I thought firearm theft was a 10 year mistake in federal court. If so, then seven years is a bit on the light side. Chas. :iagree: If I'm not mistaken, each firearm, is worth ten years. That's 654 years, even if you divvy it up, between all co-conspirators it should be a lot more than 7 years apiec...

Re: California Move to Restrict Deadly Force

Another proposal to move this country, closer to the UK style of law enforcement. Police are trained, in de-escalation techniques, but split second descisions, regarding use of force, are a fact of life. The majority, of these cases, are proven to be justified, and "necessary" We only hear about the...

Re: TX: Couple charged with littering with a gun as DA would not accept minor in possession

No wonder Houston has so many problems. I have never heard, of having to contact the DA office before making an arrest. It completely ties the hands of the police. It also, strips them of their stated powers, and duties as Texas LEO. If the DA doesn't want to file charges, fine, but let that process...

Re: FL: Homeowner drives off invaders in gun fight

25 rounds, and they "may" have been wounded? Sounds like someone needs some range time. Either that or they just bought into the media's opinion of ARs as being automatic killing machines. If I fired 25 rounds at Intruders in my home, they would still be in my home when the police arrived, asking wh...

Re: Psych patient OC's past 30.06/.07's, claims he's OK to do so.

I am no longer surprised by those, who should know the law as LTC holders, who are woefully ignorant, either through poor instruction, or through, misinformation, obtained after their LTC class. That being said, I am kind of on the fence about providing a private entity, information, on prohibiting ...

Re: 9th Circuit says 2nd Amendment does not cover legally present but nonimmigrant aliens

Will this suddenly turn, otherwise law abiding, non immigrants, into criminals, for possessing firearms? This will have a ripple effect, in that it will make the job, of gun dealers, even more difficult, since they will have to spend so much extra time, sorting through, all of the different visa des...

Next time shoot the last one first!! :fire

Just kidding, I know how frustrating that must be. Like a pitcher with a perfect game until he gives up a hit to the 27th batter.

That's still better than I have ever done. Great job. :thumbs2:

Re: Nervous LTC test

I agree with most of the replies that low left is a result of finger placement on the trigger. Usually "wrapping" too much of your finger around the trigger. I catch myself doing that when shooting fast. For me it is best to just have the first joint of my fingers, just touching the side of the trig...
