Re: New York law is an open invitation to home invaders

https://nypost.com/2019/01/21/new-york-law-is-an-open-invitation-to-home-invaders/ There is a reason homeowners can rarely afford to dispense mercy on an overnight invader: Criminal intruders tend to be the dangerous type. What homeowners don’t expect are law enforcers and prosecutors going after t...

Re: Not getting excited

Not going to try to change your mind as I get the same impression. My reps, are not putting any emphasis, on expanding our rights, either as LTC holders, or non LTC holders. I think we will be able to stave off any additional restrictions, from the left, but I don't see any advancement. There seems ...

Re: The Truth about Criminals and guns.

Imagine that criminals don't buy guns from an FFL. So, why so much regulation on the rest of us? https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-doj-study-shows-vast-majority-of-guns-used-by-criminals-bought-on-black-market-not-at-stores-or-shows Crime is the decoy, leftists use to justify gun control. They know fu...

Re: Seismic Quakemaker +M ammo...

I'm no physics expert, but I have my doubts about their claim of lower recoil due to slower burning powder. It will still require the same force to propel the bullet down the barrel. If it is too slow burning, it will be more like a flintlock, in that there is a delay between firing pin strike, and ...

Re: HB 930 - Duty to Retreat, Civil Affirmative Defense for Home Invasion

Someone authors a bill like this every session. Last session, Royce West put one out that even required a duty to retreat in your own home.

I have already written my reps on this and any similar bills. I doubt this will see the light of day, but we have to remain vigilant.

Oregon, is hoping to out Commifornia, Commifornia. California passes rediculous gun control laws, and Oregon says " hold my beer" Pure leftist endoctrination. Take a bunch of kids, who have been brainwashed, with leftist rhetoric, and then give them access to writing implements. Don't give them any ...

Re: 30.06 Ruling Letters

I'm seeing news stories that Austin was fined $9000 for "violating Texas open carry laws." :confused5 :confused5 https://www.dallasnews.com/news/guns/2019/01/17/austin-must-allow-guns-city-hall-pay-fine-violating-open-carry-law-judge-rules A Travis County judge ruled Thursday that the city of Austi...

Re: 30.06 Ruling Letters

I think this is good news. However, why are the fines so low? Why threaten with huge fines if the State is not going to use them? The maximum fine for the first offense is $1,500 per day per sign. All subsequent fines are either $10,000 or $10,500 per day per fine. Chas. Charles, I'll admit, my wor...

New Jersey will probably prosecute the homeowner for having a stolen gun!
Or for failing to get a background check before the transfer.

Re: Unfair to use an AR-15 against would-be burglars?

If life were fair, good guys would wear white hats, every competitive game would end in a tie, there would not even be a need to compare one thing against another. Unfortunately, our creator knew full well that there would be those who had an advantage over others. Cain used a rock to kill his unarm...
