Re: No place but Baltimore MD

It may be just bad reporting, but it sounds like, all that is required, is a phone call to the police to get an order. Is there absolutely, no court involvement at all? This is just going to escalate, and both police and members of the public, will die. SCOTUS needs to step in and put a halt to this...

Re: SB 2146: School Carry

Hi everyone, I haven't posted here in a really long time but I saw you guys discussing this bill and wanted to jump in because the bill is a project I've been working on for the last two and a half years. As Srothstein points out, the language doesn't change anything for private schools, although t...

Re: What Point of Sale system do you use?

Doesn't sound like you need a full fledged POS system. Perhaps you just need to be able to accept credit / debit cards? If so, then just get a Square and you're good to go. For our jewelry store, we use Quickbooks POS. It's not the greatest in the world, but it does the job well enough. We're at th...

Re: Another Father Son milestone

Jusme Jr, and I went to the gun range Saturday, so he could shoot his new CZ. It shoots great, very accurate soft recoil, and had 0 issues with any ammo. Between us we shot about 300 rounds. My Anniversary is coming up next month, already giving Mrs. Jusme, hints as to what I would like. R...

Re: IN: Homeowner finds body under gun safe

1. Per one of the above comments: the police responded but didn't find the body. IMHO, it's not the police's job to sort through an apparent hoarder's junk pile. The homeowner himself told them it would take a while to look through his junk. 2. The body might have been easy to miss upon initial vis...

Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast

I'm hoping to make it, they decided, last minute, to run production Saturday, so, I had to be there to insure everything is running. Only worked until noon, and they could have done without me. Unfortunately, it is not the Jusme company, so I am at the mercy of the powers who be. I plan to make the ...

Re: A somewhat unique situation.

Your post is rather vague, but short answer, if the bus, is a munincipality, in Texas, carrying is not illegal. No need to lock up your gun. As far as your employer, if you have been told, that carrying is prohibited, you have been given effective notice. But, it will more than likely only cost you ...

I can't find a story on the murder without subscribing to the site, but I did find an article about the ranch, and the camels.

Re: Off The Beaten Path - Camp Verde, TX

When I was much younger, I worked for a guy who stocked fish in stock ponds, one of his customers was named Walker, who owned the Prison Canyon Ranch, just outside of Camp Verde. It was part of the old fort, and served as a Civil war POW camp. He also had some camels, that we're direct descendants ...

Re: Wear seat belts - even in the back seat!

I have a hard and fast rule whenever I'm driving. The car will not move until everyone is buckled in. I have seen to many ejections, partial ejections, and blunt force trauma from impacting interior vehicle objects, to ever allow anyone riding with me to be unsecured. Does a seatbelt guarantee you w...

Re: SB 2146: School Carry

I like this bill, even if it is concealed carry only, it would mirror the requirement on college campuses.
I hope enough people get on board, and move this through committee, but I'm not holding my breath. if
