Apparently Sandmann previously settled with CNN. Too-bad. Would love to have seen a video-taped deposition of Jeff Zucker getting examined by Sandmann's bull-dog lawyer.

That’s why they are settling out of court. No public record. NDA signed to keep everything secret. I’m no expert on defamation lawsuits, but evidently, the case is pretty strong, and the media intentionally lied. I’m glad the young man is getting his just rewards. Hopefully more people will follow suit. Gen. Flynn, Roger Stone, etc.

I doubt it, they may settle, but require a gag order, on any details released. So they can simply go back to business as usual. $250 million sounds like a lot of money, but CNN probably pays more than that in legal fees every year. You can bet no left wing MSM outlet will even mention the lawsuit, much less, how much was paid.JMHO

Yeah they won't get that much, but I think wapo will settle rather than have to defend their story based on a bogus Twitter post. A jury may be more sympathetic to 16 year old than a MSM outlet. Especially, if they start a parade of fake news stories, already disproven that wapo has put out.
