Nearly three months after sending in my app, I received a letter asking for a felony search in a county I had an arrest in 30 years ago. I got it and uploaded it the same day I received the letter. I tend to agree with annoyed man. I know if it were after hours and the doors were locked it would OK. I also think that if there were no customers it would be mostly the same situation. But with customers present it goes from being on someones property with their permission to being in public ...

What if:

You are open carrying on the premises of a small mom and pop store with no 30.06 or 30.07.
Pop, the owner of the store tells you he is a gun enthusiast and asks if you could show him your weapon.
Legal to remove from holster?

Also, same as above except this time, Pop is only a hired hand ...

Good point. Here is one scenario:

You accidentally carry into the premises. The owner sees you and tells you to leave. You leave, so no Class A misdemeanor, but the store owner takes down your license plate and has you on camera.

Great discussion. The 46.035 aspect is very enlightening. I will be checking thoroughly for signs at hospitals, churches etc. as missing one of those signs could cause you to lose your license.

By the way, I never had any intention of purposefully violating a posted building. I only wanted to fully ...

Violation of 30.06 or 30.07

I am sure this has been discussed thoroughly. Forgive me for being too lazy to research.

Since it is now only a Class C misdemeanor to carry past a 30.06 or 30.07 without a verbal warning to leave, am I correct in assuming that you will not get your LTC suspended for this violation?
