Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast

Here's another thought: Those western members who have decided not to make the drive to Arlington could meet at Manny''s every month since that wouldn't be conflicting with those who would meet at Rudy's. Your thoughts? If I remember correctly, and that's pretty "iffy", the original inten...

Re: TX: Let the homeless pick thru dumpsters

I guess Security Guards don’t rank. Texas licensed security guards have very specific rules/laws to follow. They are not peace officers. Making false or misleading statements is not helpful to your defense. Hopefully surveillance video will back his story and charges will be dismissed. Regardless, ...

Re: Whataburger majority stake sold to Chicago investment firm

My most recent visit to Whataburger was with another couple on a Friday night after theatre. We all ordered "Dine In/Here". The other people got their food on trays with the standard offerings of ketchup, salt/pepper/napkins by the person delivering the food. When ours came out it was in a paper bag...

Re: AZ: Kidnapping foiled

http://fosterimpactdevices.com/coin_sap.html Now there's a nifty idea, particularly for places like California/New Jersey/Canada. "It's just a coin purse, officer". :biggrinjester: Really well made, and pretty stout if you have a handful of Eisenhower dollars to carry. Or a collection of ...

Re: FS: Comp-Tac Single Mag Carrier for 9/40 S&W Shield

My dumba** ordered this by mistake when I meant to order for a Glock 9/40. This is what happens when you do late night shopping from your phone while laying in bed. Selling at a discount to what I paid for it as I'll have to pay for shipping to return it. $25 local to DFW area. Which mag carrier is...

It's a classic.

Another is "The Anti-Gun Male" by Julia Gorin; less clinical, much more withering: http://www.jewishworldreview.com/julia/gorin030802.asp
Great article.

Re: Shooter at the Earle Cabell Federal Building

Per the radio this morning, the shooter was Ex-military and had been to combat, seem to me this was suicide by law enforcment, considering he was trained in the use of a rifle and had experience, nobody else was hurt, seems to me he took the wrong path out of this world Probably wasn't going to be ...

Re: New Guy...

Hello, I am a former Texas public schoolteacher and I have gone into the ministry. I work at a congregation of about 200 or so. We currently do not have 30-06 or 30-07 signage up in our building, which means anyone can carry. What I'd like to know is that if we were to put up the signage, would our...

Re: Ban carry at a parade or street festival on public streets

Am I the only one who notices the irony of a parade that celebrates inclusiveness and personal freedom of expression wanting to limit the ability of those who attend to protect themselves while doing so. No you're not the only one. Progressive socialists of all kinds want THEIR right, liberty and f...
