Orlando Sentinel in advance of Trump announcing his desire to seek a second term in Orlando, they announced support for “not Trump”.

Let history show that the internet did not put newspapers out of business, they committed suicide.
Yawn....the Orlando birdcage lining endorsed Felonia Von Pantsuit in 2016...this is hardly a surprising announcement.

Trump says nothing wrong with accepting dirt on opponents from foreign governments.

Refreshing honesty.

Probably aimed right at Biden, telling foreign governments to send it to him, it you have it.

Romney should speak as much as McCain is now.

Legal experts stunned by DA's 'barbaric' move to send Manafort to Rikers Island
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/legal- ... ers-island
The decision to send one of the highest-profile Trump campaign members prosecuted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller to New York CIty's infamous Rikers Island jail has stunned many in the legal community -- and even some Democrats not normally sympathetic toward Mueller targets.

Fox News reported earlier this week that Paul Manafort, who served as President Trump's campaign chairman, is being transferred from a federal prison to New York City's Rikers Island, notorious for gang violence and housing some of the most infamous violent offenders. A state judge ordered the transfer at the request of New York City District Attorney Cy Vance, Jr., who is pursuing a case against Manafort involving alleged residential mortgage fraud, falsified business records and more.
Even Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., whose district includes Rikers, blasted the idea of keeping Manafort in solitary, as was reported.

"A prison sentence is not a license for gov torture and human rights violations. That‘s what solitary confinement is," Ocasio Cortez tweeted Wednesday. "Manafort should be released, along with all people being held in solitary."

Some enterprising people should request and make public the tax returns of every NY elected official who voted for this bill, and the governor who signs it.

New York Times Fact Check: Face It: You (Probably) Got a Tax Cut
Studies consistently find that the 2017 law cut taxes for most Americans. Most of them don’t buy it.
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/14/busi ... x-cut.html
To a large degree, the gap between perception and reality on the tax cuts appears to flow from a sustained — and misleading — effort by liberal opponents of the law to brand it as a broad middle-class tax increase.
The NYT makes this statement as if they aren't part of the liberal opponents of the law and everything else President Trump does.

Russiagate -- a Bright, Shining Lie
https://townhall.com/columnists/patbuch ... e-n2543716
Which raises this question:

If Mueller could find no collusion, after an exhaustive two-year search, what was the compelling evidence that caused James Comey's FBI and Barack Obama's Department of Justice to believe that such collusion had occurred and to launch this investigation?
Is it unfair to ask: Who did this to us?
Who led the Justice Department into believing Trump conspired with the Russians?
The roots of Mueller's investigation go back to the Clinton campaign's hiring of the opposition research firm Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump. Fusion GPS hired ex-British spy Christopher Steele. He had sources in Russian intelligence who provided him with the contents of his infamous dossier. This was delivered to a grateful cabal at the FBI, which used it as the basis of a FISA court warrant to surveil the Trump campaign.

The dirt in the Steele dossier, much of it false, would be secretly shared with Trump-haters in the media to torpedo his candidacy; then, when Trump won, to destroy his presidency before it began.

Now that Trump has been exonerated, the story of how his accusers, using the power of the state, almost murdered a presidency with lies, propaganda and innuendo, needs to be brought out into the sunlight.
There won't be the kind of investigation needed to bring all of this out into the sunlight, mainly because there were too many Republicans onboard with the whole stinking mess.

WSJ Columnist: This Is What's Being Glossed Over In The Mueller Report On Russian Collusion
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa ... n-n2543660
“If you are going to investigate a presidential campaign, and on a charge as grave as collusion, and with the heavy-handed tactics the FBI employed--you'd better have a highly convincing reason to act,” tweeted Strassel. “The Mueller report is a judgment that never was any real evidence.”
If there's a shred of bi-partisanship left in the halls of Congress, a shred of journalistic integrity within the media and any shame remaining in the Democrat party, no one will rest until people are indicted, tried, convicted and put in prison for this sham perpetrated upon the President of the United States and the citizens of this country.

Trump Russia Collusion Treason Was All Just Another Elite Lie
https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtsch ... e-n2543599
And if this attempted coup, with our elite running roughshod over the rule of law and using the force of the government to oppress political opponents, has taught us anything, it is the wisdom of the Founders in enshrining the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights. It is absolutely essential that we, the American citizenry, remain armed and ready to protect ourselves, our families, our communities and our Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Our elite has demonstrated beyond any doubt that it is morally unworthy of retaining a monopoly on armed force within our society. Do you have any doubt about what these people would do if we foolishly allowed ourselves to be disarmed? Just look at Britain, where the people bought into the lie that being civilized means being defenseless. They now get arrested for mean tweets and their masters are poised to ignore the people’s vote on the Brexit referendum. Buy guns and ammunition and train with them. Be a citizen, not a subject.
The Mueller report marks the proverbial end of the beginning, not the beginning of the end, of this grave crisis. It’s a crisis where our Republic is in danger of becoming something very different, and something very much less free. Eliminating the Electoral College, letting in millions of illegal aliens, packing SCOTUS, banning guns – these are all leftist policies designed with one singular purpose, to dispossess you of the power to participate in your own governance and to ensure that we can never again elect someone like Trump who might challenge the elite’s stranglehold on control. We won this battle, but there is a long campaign ahead. Get ready, because if we let up then we will lose our liberty forever.

Trump-Russia 'collusion' was always a hoax -- and dirtiest political trick in modern US history
https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/gregg-j ... us-history
There was never any evidence that Donald Trump “colluded” with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election from Hillary Clinton. It was all a hoax. It constituted what is surely the dirtiest political trick in modern American history.

The hoax was based largely on an anti-Trump “dossier” conjured from the fertile imaginations of two nefarious characters: ex-British spy Christopher Steele; and Fusion GPS Founder, Glenn Simpson.

It was commissioned by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democrats, then peddled all over Washington to journalists, the FBI, the State Department and the Department of Justice. It spread like an airborne contagion in a 50 mile per hour wind. The premise of the ruse was as outlandish as the actions of those who advanced it. Steele was fired by the FBI for lying and went into hiding. Simpson eventually invoked the Fifth Amendment and clammed up.
Giuliani cryptically warns person behind Russia collusion claim will be outed: ‘Just pay attention’

Rudy Giuliani issued a cryptic warning Monday that whoever convinced the FBI to pursue the Russia collusion investigation into the Trump campaign will soon be outed, as he also called on President Trump's "shameless" critics to apologize for their claims in the wake of the Mueller report's conclusion.
