While I would like to see Texans be more competent with firearms in general, I disagree. I've wanted higher standards, sure - even mentioned that a few times here - but I've also had to bear in mind that being able to bear a firearm *is* a right and that a grandma with bad eyesight should be perfectly allowed to defend herself on a street, even if she can't see a bullseye at 15 yards.
