Re: Help identifying rattler!!

Good news! I was able to contact the OP and he stated he was doing better and will be back on the forum ASAP. I am assuming he must have been dealing with a lot, but do not know the extent of the complications.

Hopefully it won’t be long until we hear from him again.

Re: LTC Class and Test in Spanish

So how does a Spanish version of the course handles the LTC written test? Will DPS allow the test to be done in Spanish? Is there any official acceptable Spanish version of the test somewhere? I would suggest you reach out to Art at the link above and see how he does it. I am sure he would be able ...

The class can be taught in Spanish. Art Molina does a class in Espanyol. http://chltarrantcounty.com/

Re: May you display your weapon before you have legal cause to fire it?

A Michigan court says "yes" under Michigan law: Yesterday the Michigan Court of Appeals handed down a decision in a highly public and very controversial case that gun owners across the United States should applaud. In short, it demonstrates and validates the value of armed self-defense even when yo...

Re: Help identifying rattler!!

I tried reaching out to an email address he registered from, but no response. Even tried to associate the email address to a phone number and the number it links to said it’s not them or family. Unless someone knows more info on the member like location, real name, etc, we may never be able to trac...

Re: How to switch from Texas Non-resident LTC to Resident

Not 100% clear on this. Did you use your CA drivers license but your Texas mailing address for the license? They should match your CA DL address on the LTC. No matter, if it does not show your Texas address and DL number when you get it, go to this link https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/ltc/, fil...

Re: Attorney Andrew Branca Discusses MO Walmart Incident

Is the phrase "in a manner calculated to alarm" still in Texas law? Because if it is, and that incident had happened in Texas, I believe it would have met that standard. It is. You have to remember that a prosecutor must look at several factors when deciding if a case meets the guidelines. They wil...

Re: Attorney Andrew Branca Discusses MO Walmart Incident

Branca’s opinion basically agrees with my post here https://texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php ... 0#p1259566

My bet is the prosecutor will not seek any charges for the firefighter, and Andreychenko will get a plea down to a lesser misdemeanor charge and get probation.

That's all well and good, but if he gets convicted of any of those charges then what is the statute of limitations on those yahoos that did that same stuff down here in Texas?

It kinda makes stupidity a crime. No? At least in this type of situation.
