Nothing else. No actual apology, not a, "Hey, free shipping on your next order." Not even a letter above the name of one of Freedom Munitions officers taking responsibility.
I'd never order from them either, for those reasons. You want my business, you at least say "Sorry" when you mess up - especially when you put your customers at risk.
I wouldn't put it against them too much. It's literally not their fault. They shouldn't be the ones responsible for compensating for other people's mistakes. Granted, I would like to see good faith gestures too, but for this type of event, I'll give them a pass. The vendor that does payment processing, not so much of a pass.

Credit card theft through online checkout systems are pretty rampant. 99% of the time a credit card is stolen, it is through those same e-commerce-systems-in-a-box that Freedom uses. That's why I try my best to only shop from stores big enough to do their web coding in-house or forward payment processing directly to a credit card gateway I can trust (Stripe, Authorize, etc). Despite that, I usually end up replace my primary credit card twice a year easily after seeing fraudulent charges (I'm not always successful at trying). At least my credit card company is nice about it.

Re: AMMO. Buying, selling or nothing

Ammo buying days are pretty much up for me now. I'm working on my current inventory of reloading supplies. I just finished loading a decent supply of .50AE, and now I'm going to work on reloading 45 ACP and 308/7.62 next. Maybe I'll work on my 10mm as well. I'll be busy for a while.

Now that all the common calibers are hard to find, I've been shooting my guns chambered in less common calibers that I've been neglecting for far too long. It's actually kinda nice. I miss a lot of these ol' guys. If anything, these are better than all the standard 9mm and 5.56 guns.

Pretty cool place and they were loading ammo onto the shelves every truck according to the stocker. Saw them putting out a good number of cases worth of 9mm, 38 and 45 at normal prices. Also had some primers in stock too. They are limiting how much you can buy but still good to have another option. For reference 9mm was right at $0.24 per for range rounds.
Last time I was there, a giant hour plus line to get in was formed outside. Is that still the case?

Re: AMMO. Buying, selling or nothing

In the past month, I noticed a few thing. In the order of which it's happening, 1: the price gougers have increased their prices. 2: reloading supplies for common calibers have dried up. 3: Large ammo suppliers have gone from a shipment every few days to maybe one a week. For example, Midway hasn't had a single shipment of 9mm ball this whole past week. And the scariest one, 4: the mega price gougers who typically have a steady supply of ammo no longer have common calibers in stock.

To be honest, I don't think we'll be seeing ammo becoming regularly available again until 2021 at the absolute earliest. The election won't do anything good. Either the repubs dominate, causing more civil unrest as a leftist knee-jerk reaction, or the libs dominate, and we'll be mass panic buying for a different reason.

In my case, I wish I had more common calibers in my inventory. But at the same time, requiring myself to find alternate storage locations for new ammo I would be purchasing is telling me I probably have enough for the time being. I will still be opportunistically buying, which should allow me to maintain current inventory of what I mostly shoot. Worse comes to worse, my range time will start consisting of guns chambered in 10mm, 7.62xWhatever, etc.

Re: AMMO. Buying, selling or nothing

I'm also buying optimistically. I am well above my safety stock levels for all major calibers, so nothing to worry about here.
