Re: Are there plans for Forum members to meet up at the NRA meeting Friday?

My wife and I along with Flightmare will be back tomorrow. We could stop back by the NRA booth again tomorrow at noon for anyone who wants to meet up again.
First day was fun but exhausting. Lots to see

Re: Are there plans for Forum members to meet up at the NRA meeting Friday?

I have been looking through posts but I have not seen any suggestions or requests so I figured I would ask. Is there a main booth for NRA we could meet up at noon? If there is already a post for this please disregard. :txflag: The NRA booth is #8833. I'll be there at 8:45 for the ribbon-cutting to ...

Re: Are there plans for Forum members to meet up at the NRA meeting Friday?

Volunteering on Friday morning, ILA-Forum in the afternoon, probably volunteering again after that. Back on Saturday (not too early) to walk the show with my youngest. If somebody wants to organize a meet-up that I can attend (time-wise), I'll try to make it. :thumbs2: If anyone wants to take owner...

Re: Mike Pence @ NRA Annual Meeting

Has anyone proposed a spot to meetup while we are at the event and a time? On a side note: While I worked with the government as a contractor I was in a federal Building when Clinton was in the area and we were instructed to not look out the windows of the federal building while the President was sp...

Re: The "I am a marine not a soldier"

As a Marine, I can tell you that it has nothing to do with age...except perhaps that older Marines are sometimes a little less tactful when they correct the terminology. I will politely correct anyone who refers to Marines as "soldiers" both as a pride issue and an accuracy issue. As Socc...

Re: The "I am a marine not a soldier"

Civilians will call any service member a soldier as a generic term, but there is a difference. The young Marine is technically correct, ...

The "I am a marine not a soldier"

I have a couple of places I go where I run into the old school vets and there were a few young Marines that came in. One of the Older Marines said Thank you young man for your service. The Young Marine said thank you and to you as well. The Older Vet then says it is a totally different world to be a...
