Re: Molding a factory leather holster some?
The mold appears to be in the "on-safe" position. I believe you're GTG.

Re: TX: Houston Police Officer has ND shooting self at academy range
From the article. So Acevedo said the officer engaged the trigger, but the holster is to blame. IMHO that is a political statement. Blame everyone who isn't on our team. Hmmmm... how long before the lawsuit? :grumble :eek6  :???: :banghead: Serpa is a pseudo-security holster, that is general...

Re: Replacement S&W firing pins
Check endshake first, that will let you know exactly what your problem is...or is not.
The extended FP is not a bad idea, especially if you normally use CCI primers, but if you have excessive gapping, it may not solve your problem.

Re: Japanese Documentary: Govt knew A-bomb was coming, did not warn cities
This all sounds similar to the theory that FDR knew Pearl was going to be attacked. The issue I have with that similarity is that if FDR knew the reason is obvious. We needed to be in that war and there was no way that was going to happen voluntarily. I can’t think of a similar or valid reason the ...

Re: Morman Bloodbath in Mexico
As is typical, democracy is followed by a period of anarchy, then tyranny, before some semblance of democracy/republicanism returns, for the simple reason that large segments of any given society, in periods of extended peace and freedom, desire that EVERYTHING be legal/permissible and decline to a...

Re: Oklahoma Constitutional Carry
My issue with CC is philosophical. It sounds great. It's the way things should work. However. In the typical "wild west," if you were a dumb-butt with a gun, you either got dead or got beat, in fairly short order. In communities where you have to wait for someone to kill someone else before "the ri...

Re: 1911 Bug bites again. Which one?
Among other expensive 1911 pistols, I have Para 1911 single stack , SS in 45 ACP https://photos.app.goo.gl/1HGmSUMEXvUHFEaHA RIA 1911 single stack, Creakote in 9mm Both are excellent shooters. If you can tune a trigger or polish control surfaces they will only get better. I recommend the Rem new 19...

Re: 1911 Bug bites again. Which one?
Gotta say, I REALLY don't like Colt, and haven't for many years. The late 70s into the early 90s were horrible for their production guns. It's not that they couldn't produce a decent 1911, they just chose not to. :banghead: More recent offerings may be better, but IMHO, yuo'll pay more for the name ...

Re: Morman Bloodbath in Mexico
Let's be clear- this is NOT "just a Mexican problem." The cartels are in everything from CBD vaping(money laundering) to human trafficking (both ways), and there is strong evidence of cooperative activity with China. Tom Clancey's, Clear and Present Danger is/was a good read, for a variety of reason...

I'm of the opinion that we need to send a real message, something in the 3 kiloton range. Save the drones for in-State removals.
There is no reason not to post a $500 bounty per skin with gang tats. Jack Hayes had a functional model.
